AROMATHERAPY

My aromatherapy and massage practise (based in York, North Yorkshire, UK) at the AROMATHERAPY page.
Sales of essential oils, massage oils, base products, and skin creams (retail and trade). You can SHOP ONLINE by credit card, or you can get full info for mail order with cheque payment, or for local orders, including retail and trade PRICE LISTS. Payment by NOCHEX is also possible. I also sell a few CDS AND TAPES.
Training, talks, availability for aromatherapy residentials and holidays, etc., occasional introductory COURSES in aromatherapy and holistic healthcare.
General aromatherapy information including common USES of essential oils, SAFETY, EVAPORATION RATES, BOOKLIST.

CIRCLE DANCE & INTERNATIONAL FOLK DANCE

What are Circle Dance and International Folk Dance? Basic info on this and on my teaching at DANCE AND MUSIC
Day and other longer EVENTS in Sheffield and elsewhere.
Regular groups in South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire areas, taught by myself and others.

VENUE WANTED for residential Circle Dance events, possibly interested in New Year booking. Ideally Yorkshire/Midlands, must have uncarpeted room which can take 20 (preferably more) in a circle for dancing and be reasonably priced. Self-catering preferred.

MUSIC

Information about me as a player/singer of East European & Circle/Folk Dance music (bouzouki, vocals, drum), including Cosmo Kolo CIRCLE DANCE BAND; other bands available; Arabic drumming; and some MP3 SOUND FILES.
MUSIC WORKSHOPS AND COURSES available - some related to Circle/Folk Dance and E. European folk music, including facilitating scratch bands, basic darabuka (handdrum), drumming irregular rhythms. Also music improvisation workshops. 6-week drumming course, open to beginners, coming up in Easingwold, North Yorkshire, January 2008.
CDs AND CASSETTE TAPES (mainly secondhand, and a few new ones) for sale (mail order available) including World Music, International Folk, Gregorian Chant and Relaxation/"New Age". Also selected new and used CDs from Amazon.co.uk available from this website, including Balkan Rom (Gypsy), Balkan, Greek, and Circle Dance source recordings.

Adult Education COURSES. As well as aromatherapy and related health topics, and Circle and International Folk Dance, I am tutor for a WEA (Workers Educational Association) course in Sheffield called "Talking Politics". SOME OTHER RECENT ALTERATIONS

09.03.06 Started displaying adverts by Google on some pages of this site. I have never taken paid ads before, and am wary of advertising products or websites whose ethos or business I disapprove of. But I am tempted by the possibility of getting some income from this website, which is now getting reasonable traffic and very good search engine results! Any feedback welcome... Please note that some of the ads will be for USA and other foreign sites, often this is where there are not enough UK advertisers for the topic of the webpage. I can block ads I do not want on the site, but the process takes a little while to implement, so please forgive any appearance of ads for get-rich-quick schemes, etc.!
