I HAVE RELOCATED TO YORK from beginning of June 2007, new
contact details below. Mail will be forwarded and phone messages picked up from my Sheffield address. I
will continue to be available to teach in Sheffield at certain times.
VENUE WANTED for residential Circle Dance events,
possibly including New Year booking. Ideally Midlands/Welsh
Borders/North,
must have uncarpeted room which can take 20 (preferably more) in a circle for dancing and be
reasonably priced. Self-catering preferred.
If it doesn't specify what the event is, it's probably Circle Dance! What's
Circle Dance? - See Dance and Music.
For
International Folk Dancing groups elsewhere in UK visit the SIFD
website. For some other types of dance in and around Yorkshire and
Derbyshire, see LINKS.

EVENTS.
CIRCLE DANCE HOLIDAY AT PILION
CENTRE, GREECE. This event ran for the first time in Sept.
2007. I am considering the possibility of running again in 2009 -
please e-mail me to register interest. Not sure yet about Pilion
Centre's plans for 2009, but they expect to have a range of other events
in 2008 - see the Pilion Centre website
for details.
My event was a week to both relax and dance, sharing circle dance together in a beautiful, peaceful
environment, but with plenty of time to enjoy the nearby beach, and
mountain walks - some wooded. Some dance experience needed. See
separate Pilion page on this site for more
details, and also see Pilion
Centre's website for info about the venue, travel possibilities,
accommodation options, etc.
REGULAR CIRCLE AND INTERNATIONAL FOLK DANCE GROUPS
Sheffield
and Bakewell groups are run privately, so you pay per session on the night
and do not have to come every week - though if you are new and only drop
in every few weeks you will not repeat many dances often enough to
become familiar with them.
