CAN CRWTYN GWARTHEG
Wales. "The Cowboy's Song", used for "The Young Herdsman's Dance", choreographed by Ray Price. There are various versions of the lyrics - source for this version is Jane Faith. These are slightly different to those on the version Ray choreographed to, which was "from a vinyl record by a band with Delyth Evans in it."
Mae genni fuwch wynebwen lwyd, Ie fyth wynebwen lwyd,
Mae genni fuwch wynebwen lwyd, Hi aiff i'r glwyd i ddodwy;
A'r iar fach yn glaf ar lo, Ie fyth yn glaf ar lo,
A'r iar fach yn glaf ar lo, Nid aiff o ngho' i 'lenni!
Cytgan: (Chorus)
Ton ton ton dyri ton ton ton, dyri ton ton ton dyri ton ton ton,
Ton ton ton dyri ton ton ton, dyri ton dyri ton dyri ton ton.
Saith o adar mân y tô, Ie adar mân y tô,
Saith o adar mân y tô, Yn ffrae' wrth daflu disiau.
A'r garlluan â'i phig gam, Ie'r garlluan â'i phig gam
A'r garlluan â'i phig gam, Yn chwerthin am eu pennau.
Mae genni 'sgyfarnog gota goch, Ie 'sgyfarnog gota goch,
Mae genni 'sgyfarnog gota goch, A dwy gloch wrthi'n canu,
A dau faen melin yw ei phwn, Ie dau faen melin yw ei phwn
A dau faen melin yw ei phwn, Yn maeddu milgwn Cymru.

Cowboi - Cowboy;
I have a grey, white-faced cow, she goes to the gate to lay
And the small hen sitting on the calf won't go from my head this year
Seven small sparrows quarrelling and throwing dice
And the curlew and its crooked beak laughing at their heads
I've got a red coated hare and two bells that ring at it
And two yellow boulders are it's burden beating the greyhounds of wales
